“If someone wants to cultivate his land but doesn’t have the raw materials, what would he sow? Air? It’s like asking a person to sing even when his voice is not suitable for singing, or even stifled!” This was the farmer Ali Taha’s response to the recent calls for active farming, especially those made by the Secretary General of “Hezbollah,” Hassan Nasrallah, in which he called for reliance on agriculture using the term “agricultural jihad!”
